For over 40 years, Dr. John Cocoris has researched and developed the temperament model of behavior. To apply the model to business and counseling, he launched Profile Dynamics in the
early 1980's, and has since offered consultations and training programs to numerous organizations and businesses.
That model today serves as the basis of Concentrus's DISC3 Analysis and trainings.
John has also written extensively on the subject, publishing two books - The Temperament Model of Behavior: Born With Natural Tendencies, and The Creative Temperament: Understanding People of Extremes - and numerous manuals, including, How To Supervise People Using The Temperament Model of Behavior; A Therapist's Guide To The Temperament Model of Behavior; How to Sell Effectively Using The Temperament Model of Behavior; The User Guide to The DISC II and III Temperament Assessments; and The 15 Pattern Series. John has also been interviewed on the radio and frequently appears on the national TV talk show COPE.
John received his B.A. from Tennessee Temple University, a Masters of Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Masters in Counseling (M.A.) degree from Amberton University, and a Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from California Coast University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
